The symptoms of breast cancer may include:
- New lump or mass;
- Nipple retraction;
- Skin dimpling;
- Nipple or breast skin that is red, dry;
- Breast swelling.
Breast pain is a rare symptom of breast cancer and is not felt unless the cancer has spread significantly. In healthy women, the breasts may be painful and slightly lumpy before menstruation.
