The symptoms of breast cancer may include:
- new lump or mass;
- nipple retraction;
- skin dimpling;
- nipple or breast skin that is red, dry;
- breast swelling.
Breast pain is a rare symptom of breast cancer and is not felt unless the cancer has spread significantly. In healthy women, the breasts may be painful and slightly lumpy before menstruation.
