Fields of interest: diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant breast pathology, oncoplastic and reconstructive breast surgery, diagnosis of hernias of the abdominal wall and inguinal region, diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant pathology of the skin and the subcutaneous tissue, scars corrections. Performs: biopsies, removal of lesions using radiofrequency technology, various surgical operations and breast ultrasound.
Dr. E. Ostapenko received his medical education at Vilnius University Faculty of Medicine and the Medical University of Vienna. The doctor has gained a wide range of experience working in hospitals in Austria (Vienna), Switzerland (Zurich) and Italy (Milan). He is co-author of 17 scientific publications and 3 clinical trials.
In 2024 successfully defended PhD degree in medicine at Vilnius University with the dissertation thesis "Immediate prepectoral implant-based breast reconstruction for breast cancer".
The doctor constantly improves his qualification, annually participates in national and international conferences and seminars.
