Acid facial cleansing – is a cosmetology procedure during which dead cells of the upper layer of the skin are removed with the help of acids. The procedure promotes skin renewal, improves its texture, color and overall appearance. After peeling, the skin becomes smoother, brighter and younger in appearance.

How to prepare for the procedure?

  • Avoid aggressive cosmetic procedures.

What happens during the procedure?

During the procedure, a chemical solution is applied to the skin with a brush, cotton swab, gauze or sponge, usually with glycol or salicylic acid. The skin may start to lighten, and you may feel a slight tingling or warmth. After achieving the required effect, the chemical solution is neutralized or washed.

What happens after the procedure?

After the procedure, your doctor may monitor you for up to 15 minutes to make sure you are not experiencing any side effects, including dizziness, nausea or an allergic reaction. The skin may be red, sensitive, tense or slightly swollen. It is important to follow the doctor's instructions: properly clean and moisturize the skin, use protective ointments and strictly protect the skin from the sun. It is not recommended to rub, scratch or exfoliate the skin.
