Daina Liekienė

Fields of interest: adult and pediatric cardiac ultrasound, arterial hypertension (high blood pressure); heart failure, diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm and conduction disorders, diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart defects, diagnosis and treatment of acquired heart defects (valve pathology), coronary artery disease, pericardial diseases.

Cardiologist Dr. D. Liekienė has been working since 1988. She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Vilnius University. The doctor is the author and co-author of scientific publications and projects.

In 2001 successfully defended PhD degree in medicine at Vilnius University with the dissertation thesis "Fontan surgery. Early and long-term results." She is an experienced specialist who continuously improves her qualification and participates in national and international conferences and seminars every year.
